Picture in a Picture
This project involved placing photographs within other photographs to give the finished project an entirely new meaning. The first part of the project required us to line up an old photograph with the same scene in which it was taken:
The next part of the project was done digitally using separate "layers" of a picture in Photoshop. One picture of this scene was taken, and the next of the same scene with a white piece of paper held in front of a portion of the photograph. Using Photoshop, the section of the scene covered by the paper was cut out, copied, and transferred and pasted on the blank paper image, using the warp tool to fit the slight curve of the piece of paper. This gave an illusion of a "picture inside a picture." The black and white filter effect differentiated the separate pictures I used to create my product.
